A Nantucket Island, although only five miles wide and 14 miles long, has many diverse areas to explore. Nantucket Town on the harbor front is a living museum with its cobblestone streets, bustling wharfs and over 3,000 historic homes from the whaling period. At the east end, picturesque ‘Sconset Village features rose-covered cottages, stately summer homes, golf courses and Sankaty Lighthouse. At the west end is Madaket, a summer community known for fabulous beaches, little bridges over scenic ponds and creeks, great anchorage for small boats, and bountiful fishing for surf casters.
Our Nantucket tour provides an overview of all of the unique areas that make up Nantucket.
