Surfside is just as its name suggests—a beach area at the southern shore of the island facing the open Atlantic Ocean. Just a few miles from town via the Surfside Road (or by a wide, paved bike path) one of the island’s most popular beaches is here.
The area is a haven for swimmers, surfers, and boogie boarders. The wide expanses of unspoiled beach here are also perfect for shelling, sunbathing or relaxing on shore.
