There are two waterfront views in Miacomet: the pond and the Atlantic shore.
Beach-goers can position themselves between Miacomet Pond and the South Shore surf and divide their time between the two. The sandy-bottomed pond is great for small children.
Along the pond, the landscape is woodsy. As the land stretches toward the beach, it flattens to simple grasslands with dirt roads winding through dunes. Hundreds of acres of conservation land abut the beach. Miacomet Golf Course is close by and open to the public.
