Located on The Cliff at 19 Delaney Road, it is not only close to town, shops and restaurants, but also the Steps and Jetties Beaches. Nestled on a quiet side road, just a few yards from Cliff Road, this high-end, well-designed, well-equipped property has a more than attractive bright and open floor plan, which features nine-foot ceilings as well as hardwood floors throughout.

Additionally, there is a fabulous, designer gourmet kitchen as well as an inviting library/den. Ample counter space and cabinetry line the laundry room and a powder/cloak room is adjacent to it. Added for pleasure, there is superior entertainment equipment, luxurious 600-800 thread count linens and soft fluffy towels. Further, every aspect of this welcoming vacation home has been carefully designed to reflect traditional Nantucket charm.
The luxurious, master king bedroom, situated on the first floor, has a large, walk-in closet, a floor-to-ceiling marble shower and, beyond its sliding patio doors, a beckoning outside living space, awaiting to be enjoyed.
A second en suite king bedroom, on the second floor, has, like the master, a marble double vanity, an over-sized marble shower and walk-in closet. The queen and twin bedrooms also are en suite. Additionally, an open office/play area is situated on part of the second floor.
A lovely landscaped garden completes this special vacation spot and where can be found numerous flowering pear trees, hydrangeas and other flowering plants. A house-wide, bluestone patio outside living space has been designed and furnished for great entertaining. There is also off street parking for two cars.

***BONUS: Nantucket is the birthplace of the eminent 19th century astronomer, Maria Mitchell, who, at 10:30 p.m. on October 1, 1847, while scanning the heavens through her telescope on the roof of her father’s bank at the head of Main Street, discovered a comet. Thereafter, this comet bore her name and for which she was awarded a gold medal by the King of Denmark and subsequently feted for her other achievements, among which were: the first woman professor of astronomy and first woman admitted to the National Academy of Sciences. Established at the beginning of the 20th century for the purpose of celebrating Maria’s accomplishments, fame and philosophy, the Maria Mitchell Association has its headquarters on Nantucket. As part of their vacationing at Stargazer, guests are provided with full family membership privileges at each of the Maria Mitchell Foundation’s locations, including the observatory.***
