Beth has been an active sales associate since 2005 and joined the team at Compass Rose Real Estate in 2007. Her educational background, business experience, strong work ethic and dedication to the community make the experience of helping clients buy homes something very personal. Beth has worked especially hard to help local residents find affordable housing through her work with the non-profit developer Nantucket Homes for People, Inc. Beth handled the details for seven lottery and 21 market-rate homes as facilitator in the Abrem Quary project. She has become a pro at guiding first-time home buyers along the path to home ownership. She has recently been asked to teach a class in first-time home buying for the organization “Housing Nantucket.”
As a child Beth vacationed on the Island mainly to visit family who were year round residents. She worked at the Jewel of the Isle during the summers throughout college and graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business from the University of New Hampshire. Following college Beth studied diamond grading and colored stones at the Gemological Institute of America in New York and worked for a corporate jeweler. She later became a teacher at P.S. 6 in Manhattan and pursued her MA in Elementary Education at Hunter College graduating magna cum laude.
Shortly after the birth of her second daughter, Beth moved her young family to Nantucket to be close to her relatives and enjoy the Island she had grown to love.
